It's finally here - the last weekend at home of the scheduled League this season, and the penultimate League weekend of the 21/22 season.
What a season it has been - started with so much uncertainty over what we would be able to do, on pitch and off, and here we are eight months later.
On the pitch this Saturday we have Swindon, our friends from the other side of the M4, visiting us. They are currently sitting in third place on the table, having played the same number of games as we have (Salisbury currently top the table, having played an extra game).
Those of you who remember the reverse fixture before Christmas, where we were the only game on due to all the COVID layoffs - very tight indeed. We look forward to another exciting game this weekend.
Off the pitch we have our final VP lunch of the season - as ever huge thanks to Charles Lucas for all his hard work in coordinating.
Next weekend (Sat 9th) is the last league weekend and we have no home games, but ALL our three Senior teams will be playing away (including the Ladies) - and we very much look forward to seeing them all back to the Club around 6pm til late to celebrate their achievements.
Let's make it two weekends to remember.
Come on you Saddlebacks - Up the Vize!
